All KION TVs are built on VA LCD panels, which provide high picture quality, and Direct LED technology ensures uniform backlighting. The smallest model (24 inches) has HD resolution (1366 × 768 pixels). The 32-inch TVs are available in HD and Full HD (1920 x 1080 dots), while all other larger models offer 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 dots).
In all cases, the refresh rate is 60 Hz, and the vertical and horizontal viewing angles are 170 degrees, that is, the color reproduction is not distorted if you look at the screen not directly, but at an angle. Brightness depending on the model ranges from 250 to 330 cd/m2and the contrast ratio is from 1200:1 to 5000:1.
Sound, hardware platform and interfaces
Another important feature of KION TVs is high-quality sound. A pair of speakers with a total power of 4 to 20 W is responsible for it in each TV, and, in addition, all models have support for Dolby Digital. The manufacturer also notes that the speakers guarantee a stereo sound that remains clear at any volume, and the latter is automatically equalized when switching channels or playing ads. So the TV does not “scream” unexpectedly. Both wired and wireless headphones are supported, so you can watch TV while everyone is sleeping without disturbing anyone.
The hardware platform is 64-bit quad-core Arm-processors with a frequency of up to 1.5 GHz, which complement 1 or 1.5 GB of RAM, as well as an 8 GB flash drive. There are Wi-Fi modules (with Wi-Fi Direct) and Bluetooth, and there is also a network port for wired connection and USB connectors. Of the audio and video interfaces, there are: HDMI, inputs for an antenna and a satellite dish, an AV composite video connector, a CI + slot, optical S / PDIF and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Software platform
The software platform in KION TVs is the Android 11 operating system with the proprietary KION shell. Moreover, you do not need to perform a long and complicated setup: you just need to turn on the TV and log in to your account or create a new one – all the settings are done. But if you want to change something, you can do it at any time.
