Small producers from Central and Bajo Chaco offer farm products at the Multiplaza fair

Asuncion, IP Agency.- Families from the Central and Bajo Chaco departments will be offering farm products this Wednesday, without intermediaries, at the family agriculture fair that will be held in the central hall, Tower B – Ground Floor of the Multiplaza, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The fair is promoted by the Government through technical departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, within the framework of the public-private alliance, and encourages direct sales without intermediaries of products from family farms, favoring the development and dynamism of the productivity of rural families in the country.

The activity benefits 33 rural families from Central and Bajo Chaco, who offer fresh, quality products at a fair price, such as Paraguay cheese, pork, home-cooked chicken, home-cooked eggs, corn on the cob and corn flour.

Also available are red beans, honey, peanuts, peky butter beans, broad beans, starch, tomatoes, peppers, cassava, sweet potatoes, green vegetables in general, seasonal fruits, grains in general, a variety of typical and traditional foods, crafts, flowers and plants, among other products.
