A small plane was found upside down on the North Carolina River in the United States on Friday.

Miraculously, the pilot as well as a passenger who was on board were able to be rescued and emerged without serious injury from this accident, reports CNN.

“The plane flipped over when it hit the water before coming to rest near the shore, according to a statement obtained by local NBC affiliate Wis News 10. The craft was manned by 2 people who came out to reach the edge of the water.”
