Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has previously announced his readiness to resolve the conflict in Ukraine even before his inauguration.
“Despite Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race, the most important echo is Donald Trump, as if he will end the war in Ukraine even before he becomes US president. I think so because the US has full influence in Ukraine,” Vitso wrote on his Facebook page.
Earlier, former US President Donald Trump renewed his promise to put an end to the Ukraine conflict and prevent a slide into a third world war if he is re-elected.
“Before I return to the Oval Office after winning the presidential election, I will stop the terrible war between Russia and Ukraine and our spending of hundreds of millions of dollars on other people’s conflicts and save lives,” Trump said.
Trump has announced more than once that if he wins the presidential election, he intends to settle the conflict between Russia and Ukraine within 24 hours.
For his part, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov pointed out that the Russian-Ukrainian issue is very difficult and cannot be resolved through promises alone.
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said last Friday that former US President Donald Trump would be able to end the Ukrainian conflict thanks to his courage and strength.
The leader of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced the possibility of holding negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, despite the decree in force in Ukraine prohibiting such a procedure.
On June 14, President Putin, at a meeting with the leadership of the Foreign Ministry, set out the conditions for resolving the crisis in Ukraine, noting that among them were the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from Donbass and Novorossiya, and Kiev’s refusal to join NATO.
In addition, Russia considers it necessary to lift all Western sanctions imposed on it and to establish a neutral, nuclear-weapon-free state in Ukraine.
Putin pointed out that if Ukraine and the West reject these conditions, they may change in the future. It is noteworthy that Kiev rejected this Russian peace plan.
