In where to go We launched ourselves to know Rebanada México, there we were received by ArquiManíaco. A green character with a fun personality, the purpose of this “urban superhero” is to inspire children to improve themselves day by day, they explain to us on the site.
We asked the founders of Rebanada México to give us a brief description of the project. “A social engine made of cheese and pepperoni that rewards you for gifting slices to others. The only purpose is to have fun and help”, explains the team of the place.
Upon entering the place you will realize that everything is green. There are adapted spaces; For example, there are three tubes where they throw balls at you, they have a box pear for you to play while you wait for your pizza. They have a terrace at street level, ideal to enjoy your food.
“When we deliver the slices to the children, it fills us with joy, because they are surprised and happy to see ArquiManíaco. It is our way of helping and making Mexico not so sad, -says the Rebanada México team”.
All the furniture and even the pizza boxes have a double function. “If you fold the pizza boxes they can go back into a container, there is the pizza table, where your pizza always stays hot; because it has a space that protects it”.
Our favorite table is the “beerpong”, you just pick up a paddle, the staff of the place helps you put a net and ready to play with your favorite people. The creators behind everything you see in Rebanada México are ArquiManíaco, Marcos Márquez and Miguel Márquez.

Pizza-slice-Mexico
Each pizza is made with sourdough and a tomato sauce with the house recipe. You will find five different flavors of pizzas. When the pizza reaches your hand you will notice that it is incomplete, don’t worry it is normal, that missing piece of pizza is donated to disadvantaged people or to the heroes of the city, that is, those who help our neighborhood, mayor’s office, etc. is in good condition.
“What we like most about being at Rebanada México is the cause, which is helping people who need it. We have had to go to foundations for children with cancer and you break when you see the children. Some of the gratifications are the smiles, the emotion of the children, Marco the chef of this project tells us”
In exchange for the slice they give you snacks. You can find some baby burgers accompanied by delicious French fries! you can also get nachos, fried plantains and boneless. There is a box with movie snacks including: popcorn, soda, boneless, nachos and dressings. With the purchase of this box, two street dogs are fed for a day.

Slice Mexico: pizzas that help
Oh no! My pizza is missing a slice. Don’t worry, that’s the joke, because with that slice you help different people. The first two days of the week, the Rebanada México team takes to the streets of the CDMX to deliver pizzas to people in vulnerable situations, to cleaning workers, among more people.
In addition, in the house of Rebanada México there are some containers so that customers -if they so wish- can make a financial donation. The foundations with which they collaborate are the following:
