The other podium places were taken by the Slovakian Petra Vlhova (+0.33 seconds) and the Swiss Wendy Holdener (+1.37). The best ÖSV representative was Katharina Huber from Lower Austria in eleventh place.

Apart from 2022, when only fifth place was visible, Shiffrin has always won the slalom in Killington since the town in the US state of Vermont first appeared on the calendar in 2016. The 28-year-old, who went to school at the Burke Mountain Academy in Vermont, set the best time twice and gave Vlhova no chance.

The ÖSV women had to suffer a setback this time in their hunt for great success. Katharina Liensberger, who was third on the podium at the start in Levi, was eliminated in the first round. Katharina Troupe improved from 27th place to 17th place with her second run.

Katharina Gallhuber took 21st place, immediately ahead of Franziska Gritsch. In 28th place, Stephanie Brunner achieved her first top 30 finish in the slalom since January 2019 (19th place in Flachau).
