Skull and Bones, Ubisoft’s naval battle game has been making quite a bit of video game news lately. Aware of recent leaks regarding its game, Ubisoft is sharing a short teaser and asking players to keep an eye on the shore.

Piracy is never over

Fighting once morest winds and tides, Skull and Bones, the pirate naval battle game from Ubisoft, seems well destined to reach dry land. While recent leaks had made the rounds of the internet not long ago, the game’s official Twitter account just shared some news. While waiting for further information, Ubisoft Singapore asks us to “keep our eyes on the horizon”.

This announcement therefore follows recent leaks, but also to the announcement of the Insider program to test the first versions of this game. This might not be more official Tweet once once more gives hope to see Skull and Bones arrive safely.

Towards a refreshing multiplayer experience?

Before we have more details regarding it, we have to admit that Skull and Bones has weathered the storm more than once since its announcement in 2017. After a significant departure and several course changesUbisoft Singapore now seems to be sailing in calm waters and intends to embark players on an open-world multiplayer adventure. Nevertheless, it is important to remember that Skull and Bones should “exclusively” offer navigation; impossible to direct his avatar on dry land, or even on his boat: a captain never leaves his ship.

Either way, Skull and Bones remains an ambitious project that might pay off with the best of intentions. As we recall, the naval battles made in Ubisoft had emerged within the Assassin’s Creed games with the third opus and had largely contributed to the success of Black Flag. We therefore hope to be delighted, even surprised, by what Ubisoft is preparing for us in the near future.
