Skoda has announced a change in design concept. The new corporate identity is called Modern Solid, that is, “modern integrity”, and the first concept car in this style will be presented in the second half of this year. For now, only a murky teaser is ready, although the main idea is clear from it: future Skodas will look more brutal and more solid than current models.

It is stated that Skoda will continue to focus on family buyers, but a shift towards “country values” is planned: outdoor recreation, outings with the whole family, and so on. Therefore, the title carrier of the new style will be a crossover. Most likely electric, although announced there were no plans for such a machine before. Recall that Skoda is preparing three new electric vehicles – a golf-class hatchback, an analogue of the Octavia and a compact initial model. Clarity will come only in the second half of the year.
