Skoda Appoints Andreas Dick as Board Member for Production and Logistics, replacing Michael Oeljeklaus

Effective September 1, Andreas Dick will become the Skoda Board Member for Production and Logistics. He is currently Technical Vice President at FAW-Volkswagen in China. He succeeds Michael Oeljeklaus, who has been responsible for the department since 2010 and is taking early retirement.

Andreas Dick joined the Volkswagen Group in 1998 following studying production engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig. The qualified engineer worked, among other things, as head of body construction at Volkswagen de Mexico and in the plant management of the FAW-Volkswagen plant in Changchun, before he was responsible for setting up the plant in Foshan in 2011 and then took over the plant management there. From 2016 to 2019, Dick managed the Emden plant. In 2019 he became Technical Vice President at FAW-Volkswagen in Changchun, where he is responsible for the areas of production, logistics, planning and technical development, among other things.
