WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE DRIVER’S LICENSE EXAM
To obtain a driver’s license for the first time, it is necessary to take a written and practical test that certifies the skills of the driver who is qualified to drive in the state of Illinois.
The theoretical exam includes 35 questions, of which 15 focus on identifying traffic signs and the remaining 20 will be multiple choice or true or false questions.
The practical test will measure how well the person is able to drive, if he is able to recognize and respect traffic rules and signs while driving.
Additionally, you will have a vision check to see if you physically meet the requirements to drive.
The Illinois Secretary of State Rules of the Road Guide explains what will be tested on the exams and what is needed to pass.
