At 30 years old, Jasmine Flury is preparing to compete in its first World Cup giant. A few weeks following her splendid downhill victory on the Oreiller-Killy slope in Val d’Isère, the Davosian will put on her giant skis for the first time in competition since the 2019 Swiss Championships. The reigning downhill world champion is in form and will take advantage of having more than 500 points on the World Cup start lists for the first time in his career to start just outside the top 30 during the Kranjska Gora event on Saturday.

For the Slovenian giant, the Swiss selection will logically be led by Lara Gut-Behrami, slightly further behind following a thunderous start to the season, including successes in Sölden and Killington. The Ticino woman took advantage of regenerating her body, since she admitted suffering from a knee injury. The other big attraction in the Swiss camp is called Michelle Gisinwho will compete in both the giant and the slalom, a few days following his incredible 3rd place obtained in Lienz, between the tight stakes. Camille Rast et Melanie Meillard will also be aligned in the two disciplines.

As a giant, Andrea Ellenberger, Vivianne Härri et Stefanie Grob will also be there while Nicole Good, who remains in a superb 9th place in Lienz and Elena Stoffel, will compete in the slalom on Sunday.
