Skiing: Slopes makes good use of the Apple Watch Ultra’s action button

With winter on the way, winter vacation enthusiasts can almost feel the powder tickle their noses. With Slopes, owners of Apple Watch Ultra will have a valuable ally when hitting the ski slopes! The latest version of the app is one of the first (maybe the first) to support the smartwatch action button.

By pressing the orange button of the Ultra, it is thus possible to launch the application, and even to immediately launch a ski or snowboard monitoring exercise. This new version also contains a setting that enables the water mode during training: thus, the screen will no longer be touch-sensitive during exercise, which is not silly (not easy to manipulate the Apple Watch on the track).

Slopes also knows how to detect the ski resort where you are, automatically, or if you are skiing off-piste. The application is free, however to take advantage of all its functions you have to pay for a daily (€4.99), weekly (€21.99) or annual (€29.99) pass.
