Ski star Henrik Kristoffersen loses his coach

Norway’s ski superstar Henrik Kristoffersen will have to do without an important pillar in his coaching team in the future.

Andreas Hjellum Alfredesen is leaving the Kristoffersen team and will be working in his home country once more in the future. There he joins the renowned ski school “Donski VGS”, as reported by the Norwegian broadcaster “TV 2”.

Successor already ante portas

All in all, Alfredsen spent three years at Kristoffersen’s side in the World Cup.

His former protégé only has words of praise for the graduate: “He’s a really good guy and brings a lot of experience back to the ski school and to Norwegian alpine sports,” Kristoffersen wishes him all the best for his new job.

According to the Scandinavian TV channel, a successor is already in the starting blocks. A former member of the Norwegian women’s coaching team, Daniel Tangen, is set to take over from Alfredsen.
