On January 15th and 16th live on ORF 1
Vienna (OTS) – When the Ski World Cup stops in Flachau on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, there will be another special ski spectacle on the ORF program this time. Because Flachau’s most prominent resident is inviting you to “Hermann Maier’s Star Challenge 2024”, which ORF 1 will broadcast live on Monday, January 15th at 8:15 p.m. Ski legends and celebrities compete in teams in a giant slalom for a charitable cause. Also taking part are Corinna Kamper, Silvia Schneider, Jakob Seeböck, Josh., Jakob Seeböck, Christina Sturmer, Marco Büchel, Marlies Raich, Maria Höfl-Riesch and of course the Herminator himself. The commentator is Peter Brunner, Fanny Stapf and Ernst Hausleitner report from the finish area.
Things get serious on Tuesday, January 16th, when Mikaela Shiffrin, Petra Vlhová and the ÖSV women race for World Cup points in the night slalom live on ORF 1 at 5:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. respectively. The commentator is Peter Brunner and his co-commentator is Thomas Sykora. Ernst Hausleitner and Marlies Raich report from the finish area.
The ORF Salzburg regional studio also reports from Flachau: On Monday, January 15th, “Salzburg today” will show a live entry from Flachau – an interview with “host” Hermann Maier is planned. On January 16th, Radio Salzburg will broadcast live footage of the preparations for the World Cup slalom in the followingnoon, “Salzburg today” will report live following the first round with Michaela Kirchgasser.
