The young Grazers got off to a good start in their first second division season, but they still have a lot of catching up to do in the new year. Before the city duel against GAK, the promoted team suffered defeats against SKN St. Pölten, Dornbirn and Kapfenberg. At least there was a small sense of achievement in the 1-0 away win against FAC – the only full success in 2023, because Sturm II also suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat in the derby last week against the Roten from Graz. But you still have to watch out for the strong offensive line around Milan Toth (9 goals this season) and Mohammend Fuseini, who has already been used several times by the pros.
