A 31-year-old man, who worked as a dancer for singer Sixto Rein, was deprived of liberty and was accused of rape. This following the presentation hearing.
The Public Ministry announced in a press release that the incident was once morest a minor under 17 years of age and occurred in the Isaías Medina Angarita neighborhood of the Libertador de Caracas municipality on January 1.
At the presentation hearing, the 109th Prosecutor’s Office of the Caracas Metropolitan Area (AMC) charged the dancer with the crime of sexual intercourse with a particularly vulnerable victim.
The Violence Control Court 6 of the AMC ruled that he will remain confined in the Capital Region Rodeo II Judicial Confinement Center, located in Guatire.
What happened
“That day, the victim was with her brother drinking alcoholic beverages with the attacker and another man, when he asked her to accompany her in his vehicle to make a purchase,” the official version indicated.
Subsequently, the girl got into the car with the young man and his companion and forced her to drink an unknown substance, so that following a few minutes she began to feel dizzy.
During the journey, they stopped the march and both began to touch her body and sexually abuse her.
After the fact, they took her to the residence of an acquaintance to clean up, in order to remove any evidence of what happened.
Finally, they took her out of the house and left her abandoned until her brother found her while he was driving through the area on a motorcycle.
Hours later, the victim and her mother went to the headquarters of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) to denounce the situation.
