Sixth day of the search for Natacha in Peru: a “famous rescuer” has to give up, a “super sniffer dog”, Wally, has arrived

The tourist has been missing for more than two weeks, since she left a hostel in Colca (Arequipa region) on January 24.

It is the sixth day of the search that begins this Wednesday morning in Peru (a country six hours behind Belgium) to find the Brussels Natacha de Crombrugghe. The tourist has been missing for more than two weeks, since she left a hostel in Colca (Arequipa region) on January 24. A search marked by a tile since the experienced climber Eloy Cacya, a personality very famous in the country for having solved many disappearances, had to leave the rescue team, affected by family troubles.

So a “super rescuer“ left, a ”super sniffer dog” arrived. The rescuers thus received the help of the golden retriever Wally, a police dog who, too, has already found missing people. For example, it was he who found in 2018 the body of Marcelino Huacarpuma (80 years old) who had disappeared a few days before in the desert of the Arequipa de La Joya district.
