On the 11th, the fifth day of the general strike, the police arrested six union members of the Cargo Solidarity for obstructing the transportation of cargo vehicles while occupying a road and holding a rally in Busan New Port.

The Busan Police Agency announced that at 8:25 a.m. on the same day, six union members of the Cargo Solidarity were arrested as current offenders on charges of obstructing the transportation of cargo vehicles (obstruction of business and obstruction of the execution of official duties) at the Shinhang three-way intersection in Gangseo-gu.

At that time, regarding 270 union members from the Busan branch of the Cargo Regiment completely occupied one side of the road and were protesting.

Two police officers were injured during the arrest and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating the arrested union members by dispersing them to Gangseo Police Station.
