Dune by Denis Villeneuve with Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya collected six statuettes during the 94e edition of the Oscars held yesterday in Los Angeles, a ceremony overshadowed by the coup de brilliance of Will Smith.

Dune by Denis Villeneuve obtained six of the prestigious statuettes, including that of the best artistic direction given to Patrice Vermette, named twice previously for Victoria: The Young Years of a Queen by Jean-Marc Vallée and The arrival by Denis Villeneuve. Hosted for the first time in its history by three women, Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes, the evening was led with a bang during the first hour. It kicked off with Venus and Serena Williams who featured Beyoncé singing Be Alive from the movie King Richard – Beyond the Game on a stage set up in the Compton tennis courts where the champions trained.
