(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Dongchan Kim = Siwoo Kim (27) tied for 23rd in the second round of the PGA Tour RBC Heritage (total prize money of $8 million).

Si-woo Kim reduced one stroke to four birdies and three bogeys in the second round of the tournament held at Harbortown Golf Links (par 71, 7,121 yards) in Hilton Head, South Carolina, USA on the 16th (Korean time).

Si-woo Kim, who shot a 3-under par 139 in the middle, tied for 23rd and turned the turning point of the tournament. With a 9-under 133 shot, it is six shots behind the solo leader Patrick Cantlay (USA).

In 2018, Si-woo Kim, who finished runner-up following overtime, exchanged two birdies and two bogies in the first nine holes.

Im Seong-jae (24) tied for 34th with a 2-under-par 140.

Kang Sung-hoon (35) missed the cut with 1-over par 143, and Lee Kyung-hoon (31) 4-over par 146.

World No. 1 Dustin Johnson (USA) from South Carolina and Cameron Smith (Australia), who tied for third at the Masters last week, also shot a 1-over par 143, failing to pass the cut by one stroke.
