Maviran is an action drama thriller film written and directed by Madon Ashwin starring Sivakarthikeyan. Fans are eagerly anticipating the film, which will hit the theaters on July 14.
Now Sivakarthikeyan is saying that he never dreamed of doing a film like Maviran. The actor said this in an interview given as part of the film’s promotion.
‘Maveeran is the highest budget film of my film career. I never dreamed of making a film like this. I have felt that Madon Ashwin can do such a film. That changed when I saw his previous film Mandela. Mandela is a small film with a small budget, but the way the story is told is excellent,’ says Siva Karthikeyan.
Sivakarthikeyan also says that if you watch the film, you can understand how much vision Madon Ashwin worked with as a director to make a film like Mandela better.
Meanwhile, Maviran is coming as a big release including in Kerala. Athiti Shankar, Mishkin, Yogi Babu, Sarita, Sunil and Monisha Blessy are playing other characters in the film. The film is releasing in Telugu and Tamil languages. The trailer of the film went viral on social media.
An earlier report said that the story of the film is regarding a young man who draws superhero comics and gets the power of the superhero in it. Director Mishkin is handling the villain role in the movie. Produced by Sivakarthikeyan under his own banner, the film is distributed in Tamil Nadu by Udayanidhi Stahl-owned Red Giant Movies. Amazon Prime Video has acquired the OTT rights of the film.
