The situation between Russia and Ukraine continues to be tense. White House National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan also issued a statement on the 13th, saying that if Russia invades Ukraine and triggers a war between the two countries, Biden does not intend to send U.S. troops to fight Russia in the war. US intelligence sources pointed out that Russia is likely to invade Ukraine on the 16th.

According to US media CBS, Sullivan also stated that the United States will continue to support Ukraine if Russia invades Ukraine and triggers a war between the two countries. But he also reiterated that Biden does not intend to send U.S. troops to fight Russia in a war.
While Sullivan exaggerated in the interview that Russian forces might launch military action at any time, he acknowledged that the United States “cannot predict the exact date or time when Russia may decide to act.”
Biden has spoken to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Putin in recent days. On the 13th local time, the Ukrainian President released a message that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky invited Biden to visit Kiev in the next few days during a phone call with U.S. President Biden on the same day, saying that “this will be crucial to stabilizing the situation. It will be a strong signal to help de-escalate the situation.”

The Kremlin said in a statement that U.S. warnings of a “imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine” had reached “ridiculous” levels and that the U.S. response to Russia’s security build-up ignored Russia’s main concerns.
