Eurovision is exported. While the final of the 66th edition of the competition will take place on May 14 in Turin, and Alvan & Ahez will represent France with its song “Fulenn”, the tele-hook seen by 200 million European viewers will have the right to its version American. Under the name “American Song Contest”, the competition will be broadcast for eight weeks between March 21 and May 9, the date of the grand finale. 56 candidates will compete during this contest, coming from the 50 American states, the capital Washington DC as well as five territories such as Puerto Rico, the island of Guam or the Virgin Islands. The live competition will consist of three rounds, artists will compete in a series of qualifying rounds, followed by the semi-finals and then the grand final where one state or territory will be the overall winner specifies the press release.

56 candidates in the running
While the missions will be presented by Kelly Clarkson et Snoop Dogg, the names of the 56 candidates participating in this Eurovision USA version have just been revealed.
