Typical for a Bulgarian – we can’t think for a whole year and mess around, and suddenly we have a day to think, and it starts. This day is a must have to calm the tension and give our eardrums a rest from the crap we listen to. And if we really have to use it for thinking – it would be very sad. This was stated by the director of the Satirical Theater, Kalin Sarmenov, on Bulgaria ON AIR.
“We have not had a country for the last 2 years and it is the fault of everyone who did it. Again there will be no government and in the end it will be another wasted money, another step towards inflation and all the things that surround us. A huge crash will happen on our heads, but we are to blame. We drank the intelligence of the time, we did our best not to have thinking people,” stressed Sirmenov.
“It scares me quite a bit that the Bulgarian has not understood anything – low voter turnout, low level of thinking, low public morals. We have reached an extreme form of dumbing down. The statistics show the complete collapse of the education system. It’s not just regarding raising teachers’ salaries, is only regarding raising the money of the pensioners. The question is regarding waking up these people. We are at the bottom in any kind of thinking,” he is emphatic.
“We really like to be unjustified, poor and unhappy. We have enough work. There is a phenomenon in the labor market – there are no people, you look for people, but there are no people, so we are not poor, we are uneducated and illiterate,” added Sirmenov .
