Siri would integrate the Dynamic Island

iOS 17 rumors are growing, revealing that the Dynamic Island might play an unexpected new role. That of welcoming Siri.

Since its launch, the Dynamic Island has offered shortcuts to control music, manage phone calls, see match scores, and more. However, with iOS 17, interaction with Siri might be moved from the lower part of the screen to the Dynamic Island for some iPhones. According to Analyst941, a long press on the lock button or the traditional “Hey Siri” will trigger the voice assistant at the Dynamic Island.

Analyst941 is not at its first attempt. Indeed, he has already brought a lot of information regarding the design of the iPhone 14 Pro. This information turned out to be correct. Here is a concept proposal for Siri integration:

A definite decision

Currently, Apple is testing this novelty internally. The Cupertino company has yet to decide on the integration of Siri in the Dynamic Island, because it must first ensure that this approach is suitable for everyone. If Siri were offered in the Dynamic Island, it would not impact iPhone users without Dynamic Island. The Siri trigger would always take place at the bottom of the screen.

This rumor would confirm the fact that Apple wants to offer a more advanced experience with the Dynamic Island. Other rumors are that the entire iPhone 15 lineup should get the Dynamic Island, which means ditching the notch for good. This is good news for consumers who did not want to buy the “Pro” models of the iPhone 14 line.
