“It was one of my first goals when I took office: to be able to provide citizens with all the information in real time on the possibility of being able to deliver to the CCR of Targia”.
This was stated by the Councilor for Urban Hygiene Salvo Cavarra after the launch, starting today, of an intuitive digital system via instant messaging, Telegram and Whatsapp, which allows you to know in real time whether or not there is space to deliver your waste to the CCR of Targia.
“Too many times – says the councilor – citizens were forced to take their waste back because the center was full. It wasn’t fair to force virtuous citizens to go back and forth exhaustingly, because in this way there was the risk of encouraging abandonment on the street. Thanks to technology, now everyone will be able to first check the situation at the CCR in Targia and then decide whether it is time to go and dispose of it or wait for a better time. No surprises once you arrive”.
For each collection bin, fraction by fraction, the filling status is provided and updated with three reference lights, like in traffic lights: green light bin almost empty, and therefore no problem with disposal; orange light to indicate a situation close to saturation; red light to communicate the impossibility of disposing of that particular waste.
“Together with the mayor Francesco Italia, the sector offices and with Tekra- adds Cavarra- we have worked on a fast and immediate communication system, accessible to everyone, simple, intuitive. Now the “digital traffic light” for deliveries to the CCR of Targia is a reality”.
