A few days ago Christian Constantin drove into a friend.

Now the Sion President visited the accident victim in the hospital.

The 66-year-old CC is still plagued by feelings of guilt.

At the end of October the news made the rounds that Sion President Christian Constantin was driving his Lamborghini hit his own buddy has. Now there is an update on the story from the French-speaking Swiss newspaper “L’illustré”. So CC Léonard visited Gianadda and posed for a photo with him. “I don’t blame him,” said the 88-year-old accident victim.

Gianadda continued that he was fighting as best he might to get back on his feet. However, he is only slowly regaining his strength in the hospital because he had already undergone several chemotherapy treatments for bone cancer. The 66-year-old Constantin is still plagued by a guilty conscience: “Of course you can say that there are worse things. “But that doesn’t diminish my responsibility for causing the accident.” According to the Sion president, he only really became aware of the tragedy following he freed his leg.

Gianadda was thrown away

In October, Constantin was quoted as saying: “In a second we turned a magical evening into a nightmare.” The accident occurred following a visit to the Knie Circus in Sion. Assuming that his long-time friend Gianadda was already in the luxury car, Constantin accelerated. Only: Gianadda still had one foot outside the Lambo. This foot was run over by the car when Constantin tried to maneuver out of a parking lot, and the 80-year-old himself was ultimately thrown away.

Emergency doctor Hannelore Luy was quickly on site with an ambulance and found a terrible scene: “When I saw the leg under the wheel of the 2.2-ton off-road vehicle, I thought the worst.” She screamed that CC shouldn’t move his car under any circumstances. Gianadda was immediately taken to the hospital. The diagnosis: an open fracture of the fibula and ankle. He’s doing well given the circumstances: “In my misfortune, I was lucky.”
