The last song in the last singing seminar of the year in the music hall of the Ziethen manor house was dedicated to autumn. “The forests are colorful,” the participants and guests sang together at the top of their lungs before the winter break began. Doris Hädrich-Eichhorn had previously worked with the more or less experienced singers on songs throughout the day, which were then performed as usual at a public concert in the afternoon.
From Mozart to Bruce Springsteen
It is entirely intentional that the musical spectrum ranged from pieces by classical composers such as Beethoven or Mozart to songs by Bruce Springsteen, Simon and Garfunkel or Hannes Wader. And regardless of which genre the song in question belonged to, Doris Hädrich-Eichhorn always provided a knowledgeable introduction and one or two interesting anecdotes.
The trained opera singer announced that this will continue in April of next year. The aim of the seminar is still to encourage people to sing, regardless of whether they are beginners, amateur singers or professionals. All you need to bring with you is a little love for music – and maybe a little bit of courage to perform at a public concert at the end of the seminar. Because that is a completely different matter, Doris Hädrich-Eichhorn praised the seminar participants.
