Singer-songwriter Fathallah Lamghari dies at 82

After the theater and the death of the artist Noureddine Bikr, it is Moroccan song that is in mourning.
This Saturday evening, the Moroccan lyricist, performer and composer, Fathallah Lamghari, died of a heart attack at the military hospital in Rabat, at the age of 82.
The artistic career of the artist, born in 1940 in Fez, has been marked by many successes, the most notable of which are songs like Maghyara, Kass El-Balar, Rijal Allah or others. Songs that have been reinterpreted by great stars of Moroccan song. We also owe him the patriotic song “Nidaa Al Hassan” which he wrote on the occasion of the Green March.
He collaborated with Latifa Raafat, who was only just starting out, by composing the hit song for her, “Ana fi âarek ya ima”. The same goes for Naïma Samih with “âla ghafla”.
