She is perhaps best known for her powerful vocal abilities as a jazz vocalist but also showcases her talents as a singer, composer, and improviser across diverse genres, including blues, musicals, and theater music. For years, she captivated audiences solo and through collaborations with renowned musicians, composers, and international artists across Latvia.
Her journey through the world of jazz is a testament to her artistry. From contemporary and ethno-jazz to world jazz and big band performances, Kerevica’s style is a unique fusion of tradition and innovation, earning her accolades for her rich timbre, impressive vocal range, and inventive musicality.
Kerevida has enriched Latvia’s musical tradition through collaborations with a constellation of celebrated artists, including Denis Paškevich, Kaspar Kurdeko, Arti Oruba, Viktor Ritova, Andri Grunti, Jānis Rubik, Norbert Skrauci, Edvin Ozola, Roman Vendina, Krista Saržanta.
Additionally, she has shared her artistry with leading Latvian theaters and directors, taking on roles as both vocal instructor and actress.
Joining Kerevica on stage is Mārtiņš Kalniņš, a gifted pianist with an impeccable reputation within the jazz world. He complements Kerevica’s powerful artistry with his own mastery of melodies and harmonies, weaving a sensory tapestry that transcends musical boundaries.

**Absolutely! “From the Heart to the Heart” is a unique blend of music. We’ll be sharing some of our original compositions, along with beautiful contemporary works, and of course, some beloved Christmas classics to celebrate the spirit of the season.**
Sounds like a truly diverse and moving program. What inspired you and Martyns Kalnins to create this particular concert experience?
**We wanted to create something that would truly resonate with the audience’s hearts. This time of year is all about togetherness, love and hope, and we believe music has the power to evoke those emotions more powerfully than any other art form**.
The Bauska Palace Museum is such a beautiful and historic setting. How do you think the venue will contribute to the atmosphere of the concert?
**It’s a truly magical place. The acoustics in the museum are wonderful, and the historical surroundings add an extra layer of meaning and depth to the performance. We envision a truly intimate and immersive experience for our listeners.**
