Singapore government refuses to renew Kwon Do-hyeong work visa

The Singapore Ministry of Labor has refused to renew the work visa of Terraform Labs (TFL) CEO Kwon Do-hyeong.

Citing a report by Stray Times, a local media in Singapore, Bloomberg said, “CEO Kwon applied for a renewing Singapore work visa, which will expire on December 7. turned out to be,” he said.

Accordingly, attention is focused on whether CEO Kwon will be deported from Singapore following his work visa expires on December 7.

Meanwhile, the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office has requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to impose administrative sanctions, such as restricting passport issuance for CEO Kwon and five other officials.

According to the Passport Act, if an arrest warrant is issued to an overseas resident, a passport issuance, refusal to reissue, or return order may be issued.
