The winter break has now arrived in many sports. Many stars spend the Christmas holidays somewhere warm. Some have also acquired a yacht – and they definitely have to be used from time to time. We show you the most beautiful luxury ships of the sports superstars. “The stars’ yachts are reminiscent of floating luxury hotels. These boats offer a variety of entertainment options such as a spa area, a gym, a cinema, a bar and restaurant-like cuisine,” explains expert Hicham Ratnani from the boat holiday company Zizoo.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Zlatan Ibrahimovic ended his great career last summer. At Barcelona, PSG, Inter and Milan he earned enough to secure the most expensive yacht of any athlete. The yacht with the name “Unknown” is said to be worth a good 17.5 million francs. The Oasis 34M Benetti model superyacht is 35 meters long, has five guest cabins, an infinity pool and two wings that can be opened on each side of the yacht to make it larger.
David Beckham
The name of the boat is actually clear to David Beckham. He called his ship “Seven” – like his shirt number during his active career. The yacht is a good 25 meters long and costs between 5.5 and seven million francs. There are four guest cabins, with space for up to 20 people in total. By the way: If you want to rent a similar ship for a week, you’ll pay around 40,000 francs.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo is known for his luxury cars, but the Portuguese also often spends time on his luxury yacht. This costs a good 5.5 million francs, is 26 meters long and has six bathrooms and five guest cabins. It’s also pretty fast – up to 51 km/h.
Rafael Nadal
The Great White can accommodate eight guests in four cabins. She has a garage that is big enough for a dinghy, but can certainly also accommodate a jet ski. The large suite also has a ceiling TV and a walk-in closet. The superyacht is worth a good 5.5 million francs – you can rent it for a week for an estimated 51,000 francs.
Neymar
“Nadine” is the name of Neymar’s superyacht. The footballer bought the ship in 2012 for a good seven million francs and named her after his mother. By the way, Nadine is anchoring in Neymar’s hometown of Santos. It is not entirely clear how many cabins the 24 meter long yacht has. One assumes three to four.
Conor McGregor
The MMA fighter owns the Lamborghini of yachts, literally. His superyacht was created through a collaboration with Tecnomar and Lamborghini and features the unmistakable gold-green color. With a top speed of up to 111 km/h, the yacht is the fastest of all sports stars. In total it is 20 meters long and McGregor can welcome around twelve guests. The price for the superyacht is around three million francs.
