Sindh High Court’s order to continue proceedings for the recovery of missing citizens – Pakistan

The Sindh High Court ordered to continue the process to recover the missing citizens.

A 2-member bench headed by Justice Nimatullah Phalphoto of the Sindh High Court heard the petitions filed against the disappearance of missing persons from different areas of Karachi. The families and lawyers of the missing citizens could not appear in the court.

During the hearing, the court asked the investigating officer what measures have been taken to recover the citizens. To which the investigating officer replied that several JITs and PTF sessions have been conducted for the recovery of the citizens, letters have also been sent to the custody institutions and agencies across the country.

The investigating officer has said that efforts are being made to recover the citizens, Aizazul Hasan Nazimabad, Maqsood Ahmed Sukhan and Sabir Hussain are missing from Korangi area.

The court declared the actions of the Sindh Police regarding the recovery of the missing persons to be frivolous

On this occasion, the police report revealed that Sabir Hussain, a missing citizen from Korangi area, has been recovered and returned to his home in Punjab.
