Sindh Cabinet’s decision to conduct an operation against dacoits in Kacha

The Sindh Cabinet meeting was held in Karachi. In the meeting, Secretary Interior and IG Sindh Police gave a briefing to the members and said that the police need military grade weapons in the Kacha area.

The two officials said that the recommendation for the purchase of military grade weapons was made in the meeting of the Apex Committee on January 5. Two billion 70 crore rupees are required for the purchase of military grade weapons.

The Sindh Cabinet also approved the purchase of arms by approving the funds. Now, with the approval of the cabinet, the Sindh government will take the NOC from the interior ministry for the purchase of arms.

The Sindh Cabinet decided that there would be a joint operation once morest dacoits in Kutch, in which the police of Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan, along with the Rangers and the Army, would also participate.

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said that this will be a joint and pre-planned operation, the IG Police will start the operation from his own plan.
