After his death, there were many allegations that Monal had committed suicide. Simran holds a press conference and says that it was the dancer Prasanna who led her sister Monal to commit suicide. Monal and Prasanna, who was a choreographer in the film, were in a relationship and lived together. Simran had accused Monal of forcing her to commit suicide when she left Prasanna. Simran also alleged that actress Mumtaz and her manager Riaz stole Monalin’s make-up kit worth Rs 50,000 and a personal diary containing evidence. Both of them were the first to come to Monalin’s flat when they came to know about her suicide. Later, Monalin’s case was not proved as usual.
