On Facebook, the one who piloted the last six editions of the traditional Bye Bye recounted up and down this day of schnoutte.
“THE MOST COMPLICATED DAY OF MY LIFE:
(I already made this post, but here is the full story)
New York, 8:45 am: I take a taxi, I go to a car rental center to return to Montreal.
On the spot I learn that I need my passport because I have a Canadian driver’s license. (no other company does this…)
I take a SECOND taxi, I go back to my girlfriend’s house to get my passport and then I return to the rental center in a THIRD taxi.
10 minutes following renting my car, I had a puncture.
I use the “jack” to lift the car and change the wheel, but once I unbolt the wheel, THE JACK BREAKS.
I call the rental center for roadside assistance, they send help, it’ll take 1 hour.
1 hour later, NO TRAILER.
I call the rental center. I learn that the tug had incorrectly noted my telephone number, so unable to reach me, he CANCELED the tow without telling me.
The rental company sends me a SECOND TRAILER. I’m waiting another hour”, explains Fecteau in the FIRST HALF OF ITS HISTORY!!!
