Silvia Bronchalo’s Emotional Journey: Visiting her Son in Koh Samui Prison

Silvia Bronchalo has visited her son in the Koh Samui prison for the second day in a row. The mother of Daniel Sancho, who has been in provisional prison since August 7 following confessing to the murder and dismemberment of Edwin Arieta, arrived at the prison early this Friday morning.

“For me it has been very difficult. Nobody expects something like that, nobody is prepared to receive something like that. Nobody prepares us for news like that. Daniel is calm and now to wait for everything to be resolved,” he declared following leaving Thai prison.

His second meeting with his son has lasted 45 minutes, 25 more than what was stipulated in principle. It was through glass, so they mightn’t touch each other. “He has recognized the facts and has asked his mother to be strong,” explains a reporter from The Summer Program.

It should be remembered that this Thursday, following his first visit, Vicente Cacho, who is the representative of the Spanish embassy that is helping Silvia at the moment, declared that Bronchalo “does not believe that his son committed the murder.” But this Friday, Daniel “has told his mother in a small nursing room. She is there because she has a muscle ailment,” they say on Telecinco.

“Daniel has not cried. He has been seen whole, very whole,” they add. In addition, Rodolfo Sancho’s son spoke with the embassy representative for “15 minutes.” “His mother brought him food and he has received a small amount of money, between 10 and 12 euros, it cannot be much, so that he can eat much better,” they say.

At the moment, it is unknown how long Silvia Bronchalo will extend her stay in Thailand. Rodolfo, for his part, remains in Spain pending everything. As we collected, the actor “does not want to give any statement and has asked his son’s friends not to give any statement to the media.”
