The Royal Moroccan Football Federation, the Office Chérifien des Phosphates Group and private sector partners (UAE’s TAQA) signed a partnership agreement to create a special fund to finance and develop training and raise the level of emerging talents.

In a statement published on its official website on Tuesday, the university said that in implementation of the high directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, calling for establishing good governance, adopting the principle of transparency, and launching investments in infrastructure and human resources, this partnership will aim to support the effort made at the national level to develop football and excel in this field, by relying on working together between partners to develop and modernize training centers located in the Kingdom of Morocco and to enhance them with modern equipment managed in a professional manner and with precise technical expertise.

The same source adds that the establishment of the fund allocated for training depends on an “economic model” based on training high-level players and integrating them into professional teams, which ensures the sustainability of this project, by establishing an anonymous company specialized under the technical supervision of the National Technical Administration of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.

This fund will finance the practical management of training centres, based on a new model in this field, and excellence in framing young talents in professional ways.

Under this partnership, the fund will finance training centres to ensure excellence by guiding young talents in professional ways, in addition to contributing to enhancing the social integration of youth and developing the values of sport, the statement added.
