Ajman, September 14, 2023 – The Ajman Municipality and Planning Department issued 1,284 completion certificates during the middle of the current year 2023, as part of its efforts to seek sustainable development in the building and construction sector.
Engineer Khalifa Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of the Department of Buildings Department, confirmed that the number of certificates issued witnessed a significant increase compared to the same period in the last two years, as the number of completion certificates in the first half of 2022 reached 874 certificates, while the number of certificates during the first half of 2021 reached 874 certificates. 711 certificates of completion, explaining that this increase reflects the increasing interaction with the construction sector in the emirate, and indicates continued activity in the urbanization movement and comprehensive development.
He explained that the department strives to facilitate the provision of the service to customers, and ensures its ease and completion efficiently and effectively. Accordingly, it enabled them to request the service through the “Ammar System” website and the MPDA smart application system, to obtain a certificate of completion for all types of building permits upon completion of the complete construction work according to the plans. Approved by the department and in accordance with the technical and engineering specifications and meeting the conditions and requirements.
He stated that the contracting offices and engineering consulting companies operating in the emirate are distinguished by their efficiency and effectiveness and adhere to the specific requirements and standards to ensure the quality of buildings. They also always work to develop and provide the best, which has contributed to increasing the number of completion certificates for full compliance with standards and regulations.
