Signature of agreements to recognize scientific excellence

The signing of these partnership agreements bringing together the Regional University Pole of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (PUR-RSK) and the regional, economic and social actors of the region, took place during a ceremony chaired by the Minister of Education. Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Abdellatif Miraoui.

The first convention on the formalization of the PUR-RSK and consecrating the academic and scientific excellence of the region, was initialed by the presidents of the Mohammed V University of Rabat (UM5), the Ibn-Tofail University of Kenitra (ITU), the International University of Rabat (UIR) and the Abulcasis International University of Health Sciences (UIASS), respectively Mohammed Rhachi, Azzedine El Midaoui, Noureddine Mouaddib and Samir Jamal.

The presidents of the four universities of PUR-RSK have concluded a second agreement with the RSK Regional Council represented by its president Rachid El Abdi with the aim of enshrining territorial inclusion through the creation of a regional center of excellence in the region. RSK.

In order to stimulate economic inclusion and competitiveness, other agreements have been signed between the PUR-RSK on the one hand and socio-economic actors on the other hand, in particular the PSA Maroc group, the Moroccan General Confederation des Entreprises CGEM-RSK, Banque Populaire Régionale de RSK and Huawei Technologies Morocco, represented respectively by Noureddine Louali, Bouthayna Iraqui Houssaîni, Bouchra Berrada and XU Xujing.

Another agreement which appears on the menu of this ceremony was signed between the PUR-RSK and the Business Creation Foundation of the BCP group, represented by Younès Oujenha, and this to devote social and sustainable inclusion.

The last agreement sealed on this occasion concerns a partnership and cooperation framework agreement which was signed between the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, represented by its Secretary General Mohamed Khalfaoui, and the Moroccan University Network for Inclusive Education (RUMI) represented by Mohammed Youbi Idrissi. The work of the 10th stage of the regional meetings of the ESRI 2030 PACTE opened on Saturday at the Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI) in Rabat, as part of a series of regional meetings scheduled by the Ministry of higher education, scientific research and innovation.

Placed under the sign “Together, for a new model of the Moroccan university”, this meeting aims to provide the Kingdom with a renovated, sustainable university adapted to the needs of students and territories, in order to devote inclusion socio-economic, competence and academic excellence.
