Initialed, on the side of the CPA by the head of the Islamic finance division, Sofiane Mazari, and the general manager of the company EKICLIK (Sarl member of the WISSAL group), Abdelkader Benghaffor, this memorandum of understanding is part of ” the active contribution of the CPA to the realization of the public authorities’ strategy relating to the digitization of banking activity, an essential lever for improving financial inclusion, as well as economic development”, specifies the same source.

This partnership agreement also “strengthens the Bank’s commercial strategy aimed at customer satisfaction by diversifying its products and simplifying access to them, through an online acquisition process and a mode of financing in conformity to the precepts of the Islamic Sharia”, it is underlined.

In the same vein, the CPA explains that this partnership aims to automate the process of granting Islamic financing in the form of “consumer murabaha”, thus allowing “to reduce processing times and offer a quality of service commensurate with customer expectations.

Thus, by accessing the site with a single click (https://cpa-bank.ekiclik.dz/), the customer will be able via this secure platform, available 24/7, to select various items (electronic household appliances, furniture, vehicle, etc.), carry out their simulation and then access online financing by following the various steps described in the platform.

The same source ensures, moreover, that by being part of this dynamic, the CPA is setting “an additional milestone” in its approach to modernization, affirming that this is “already consecrated concretely through the opening of 16 digital service spaces as of July 5, 2023, bringing the overall number of these spaces to 20″.

“This dynamic also confirms the ambition and determination of Crédit Populaire d’Algérie to provide its customers with services adapted to their needs, as well as a certain will to work permanently to improve the existing situation”, concludes the press release.
