The CEO of RAM Abdelhamid Addou and the director general of the ONMT Adil El Fakir signed this Thursday, June 9, a historic partnership in the presence of the Minister of Tourism Fatim-Zahra Ammor.
The two organizations have signed this historic three-year partnership for a common policy, in order to maximize their resources to optimize the tourist promotion of Morocco.
“It’s a natural partnership, because it’s a team effort between two organizations that know each other perfectly and have been working together for some time,” said RAM CEO Abdelhamid Addou.
The two players have agreed to set up a global cooperation framework running from July 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025. This partnership will also allow the implementation of promotion and marketing for the Morocco destination. It promises innovation, creativity and dynamism to enhance the image of the Kingdom.
“The realisation of this agreement will undoubtedly have significant repercussions on the tourist activity of Morocco. The RAM is our national company, so it was important for the Office to be at its side to stimulate tourist demand both nationally and internationally», affirms Adil El Fakir, director general of the ONMT.
The ultimate objective is to carry the image of Morocco on all the continents through the 70 international airports served by the national company; and at the national level, to accompany Moroccan tourists in their discovery and rediscovery of their country.
“It will be a question of seizing the commercial opportunities that are available to us in this period of recovery. This alliance and the resulting program in the short, medium and long terms, are a sign of greater optimism and ambition for our national tourism,” said Hamid Addou, Chairman and CEO of Royal Air Maroc.
Indeed, it also includes a co-marketing component, a joint communication campaign at the national level and for Moroccans around the world, joint activation of social networks, joint participation in events.
In addition, the presence of the RAM will also be reinforced in the four major world tourist fairs and certain regional offices of the RAM might accommodate the delegations of the ONMT.
