In the parent company of Rene Benko’s Signa companies, Signa Holding, the creditors’ claims currently amount to 7.846 billion euros. The insolvency administration has so far only recognized a fraction of this: 81.8 million euros. The insolvency administrator Christof Stapf announced these figures at yesterday’s subsequent audit meeting.
Since the audit meeting, claims totaling 1.3 billion euros have been withdrawn – and new claims amounting to 575 million euros have been filed late. Creditors originally filed more than 8.6 billion euros in claims. The checks as to whether claims from suppliers or other group companies are justified are continuing.
