As previously announced, SIGMA officially released two new lenses today (2/21), the 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sports and the 15mm F1.4 DG DN DIAGONAL FISHEYE | Art.

500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sports

SIGMA 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sport is a super-telephoto fixed-focus lens specially designed for mirrorless cameras. It achieves ultimate high image quality with a focal length of 500mm and an extremely compact and lightweight size. By using multiple pieces of special low-dispersion glass lenses with large diameters that are difficult to machine, SIGMA has succeeded in significantly reducing the size of the lens without using diffractive optical elements. At the same time, high resolution suitable for 500mm fixed focus lenses is also achieved. The main body of the 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sport is mainly composed of high-precision engineering plastic parts. Although it is small in size, it is strong and weather-resistant. The 500mm F5.6 DG DN OS | Sports, which weighs only 1,370g, is suitable for handheld shooting of wildlife, aviation, sports and other fast-moving subjects, providing photographers with a new photography experience.
