“Mayor Fabio and Councilor Tucci, as delegate for the subsidiaries, urgently clarify the matter that involved the top management of the company Si.Ge.Ri.Co with the assignment to Dr. Tafani of the role of manager of the company after his resignation as President of the same company: resignation submitted the day before the Board of Directors of the company, which he chaired until the day before, deliberated the selection notice for the manager in which he himself participated. In addition to exhaustive answers to my question, I expect the top management of Si.Ge.Ri.Co, including Dr. Tafani, to be urgently summoned to the general affairs committee to clarify what happened. With the question I ask to know when the inclusion in the organizational chart of the company of the position currently held by Dr. Tafani dates back to, or whether it was already held previously or whether we are witnessing its first activation; what role Dr. Tafani held at that time and whether he took part in that decision; what functional advantages the company derives from having held the aforementioned position rather than including it in the duties and activities of the general manager, thus renouncing the possibility of obtaining synergies, efficiencies and cost containment of the structure of a company wholly owned by the municipality; what role Dr. Tafani held at that time and whether he took part in this decision; whether it is true that Dr. Tafani resigned as president of the Si.Ge.Rico company on 3 July 2024 and why, if so, last 30 July Councillor Tucci did not deem it necessary to mention this in his response to the question of a councillor of this group; whether Dr. Tafani resigned with a communication to the records and for what reasons; whether at the time of resigning Dr. Tafani was aware of the business discussed the following day by the company’s board of directors and who convened the same board of directors; whether the facts and circumstances that are the subject of this question do not present profiles in violation of the code of ethics and behavior of the Municipality of Siena also based on the principles of transparency; whether it is not necessary and urgent to summon the president of the company, the general manager and Dr. Tafani himself to the general affairs committee, whose hearing may allow the entire affair to be reconstructed with greater transparency.”
