SICO trains 44 Bahraini women on trading in financial markets

SICO Bank began implementing a joint program with the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Women to train 44 Bahraini women on trading and investing in global financial markets and encourage them to gain practical experience in stock markets, spread financial culture and consolidate the foundations of savings and financial knowledge among women in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The training program, which was supervised by experts from SICO and was called “Trading in Financial Markets,” began with an introductory session held on Sunday at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) and covered a number of topics, including an introduction to trading, including the basics and types of stock trading, and understanding and analyzing the market. The program provides participants with a virtual trading platform that simulates the real environment of global trading platforms. Participants were given an amount of virtual money to trade with, allowing them to gain experience in trading without risking real money, in addition to providing them with actual market data such as stock prices, market trends, and other relevant information. To help them make successful trading decisions, the program also provides guidance and guidance sessions by SICO experts.
