Sickness after eating spinach; Many people are in hospital in various places in Australia

Many people are in the hospital following buying spinach from supermarkets in Australia. He was admitted to the hospital following he felt unwell following eating spinach. Eight people were sickened in Victoria and 47 in New South Wales.

Those who ate spinach bought from a Cost Co supermarket in New South Wales were the ones who suffered. The doctors explained that they are seeing the kind of problems that arise when consuming intoxicating substances.

In the incident, the authorities have instructed the company that supplied the spinach to withdraw all its stocks. Spinach has been withdrawn from New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, the Northern Territory and South Australia. The stocks were withdrawn following complaints of fever, blurred vision and mental disturbances among those who consumed the spinach.

But the authorities have concluded that the leaves of some other plant may have been included in these packets. The health department said that those who have bought spinach should inform them immediately if they notice that it has other leaves and samples of the spinach have been sent for testing. Officials said that they should be very careful in the incident and the investigation is in progress.
