Shure launches MV7+, new version of its microphone aimed at podcasters

A Shure announced its new microphone dedicated to podcasterso MV7+. An evolution of the MV7, the model has a series of improvements that make it even more powerful and versatile than the previous generation, which arrived on the market in 2020.

One of the most prominent new features is the new touch sensitive LED panelwhich can be customized with millions of color options and also serves as a shortcut that allows you to mute the microphone with a single tap during a recording.

It also has improved connections, such as outputs XLR e USB-C — an evolution compared to the previous microphone, which had a traditional Micro-USB port. The new feature allows you to connect the microphone more easily to modern devices, including iPhones 15.

Relying on technology Voice Isolationto separate the captured voice from undesirable sounds in the environment, the MV7+ also had its Auto Level enhanced, which makes it possible to adjust microphone gain based on distance, volume, and spatial sensing.
