Theater

Plumber Plumber at the CDN-théâtre de l’Union in Limoges

There are only a few places left for the 5 dates of Plumber Plumber, a 4.5 hour experience… Interspersed with intermissions of course! It is true that the success of Fortresses last year presented by Gurshad Shaheman can explain the success of five dates.

In these three performances, Gurshad Shaheman, associate artist of the CDN-Théâtre de l’Union, revisits its history, inspired by the internationally renowned creator, visual artist and performer, Marina Abramovic.

“I am struck by his way of reproducing the history of his country and the world through such personal forms […] This is my whole quest today,” he confides.

In the first performance Touch Me, he looks back on his early childhood spent with his father in Iran. In the second, Taste me, he talks regarding exile in France with his mother as a teenager. Finally in Trade mehe evokes his life as a young adult who emancipates himself, living in particular in paid homosexual relationships.

Limoges, Théâtre de l’Union, Tuesday January 16 to Saturday January 20, 7:00 p.m. except Saturday 6 p.m., duration 4:30 with intermissions – 05.55.79.90.00.

Under the weight of Feathers: hip-hop in Feytiat

Feytiat, Espace Georges-Brassens, Saturday January 21, 4:00 p.m., duration 1 hour, €23 and €17, free under 10s, tickmaster reservation, etc.
