After the success of Rag’n Boogie’s 10th anniversary last season, Sébastien Troendlé returns to Le Point d’Eau with the first edition of his On the Mississippi festival.
FINALLY A BOOGIE, RAGTIME, STRIDE, BLUES & MORE FESTIVAL IN ALSACE!
In the last century in the United States, these types of music naturally rubbed shoulders in rent-parties and other barrel houses. The proliferation of styles and the creativity of the musicians of the time offered wild evenings to all.
Imagine all these fingers running over the 88 keys of the pianos, the dancers and dancers, a frenetic and…spiritual atmosphere! The enthusiasm was palpable.
It is high time to resuscitate these evenings so that these styles, the musicians, the dancers and the public can rub shoulders once more.
Let’s revive this universal musical heritage for an unparalleled jubilation but this time… in Alsace!
Many dancers from Lindy Spot and Boogie Spirit will be present and the dance floor will be open to all.
